The purpose of this paper is to present an approach to effective SC collaboration by understanding the dynamics between various supply chain collaboration enablers (SCCEs) that help to effective SC collaboration. The research presents a hierarchy-based model and the mutual relationships among the SCCEs using interpretive structural modelling. The research shows that there exists a group of enablers having a high driving power and low dependence requiring maximum attention and of strategic importance while another group consists of those variables which have high dependence and are the resultant actions. This classification provides a useful tool to SC managers to differentiate between independent and dependent variables and their mutual relationships which would help them to focus on those key variables that are most important for effective SC collaboration. The presentation of enablers in a hierarchy and the classification into driver and dependent categories is unique effort in the area of SC collaboration. He has about seven years of experience in teaching and research. His areas of research interest include knowledge management, supply chain management and production and operation management. The horizon of the supply chain (SC) in the business in increasing continuously and becoming complex with its expanding role, which is result of technological advancement, ever increasing customer expectation, regulatory compliances and changing business models. Researchers used various methods to understand SC complexity and decipher the factors impacting the SC processes and concepts. Interpretive Structural Modelling (ISM) is one of the methods which is widely used in literature to transforms complex and abstract business phenomenon or vaguely defined business processes into clearly articulated, visual, structured models. This method includes interactive technique which helps to structure and build the comprehensive systematic model for set of different but related elements. The objective of this paper is to review the literature on ISM as methodology for understanding the complexity of SC challenges, issues, barriers and enablers of various processes or functions and their classifications based on SC processes using a structured approach. This study further elaborates the process for modelling structure and presented ISM as a modelling approach by elaborating steps and important features. Discussion and managerial implications of using and extending ISM in SC are provided to conclude the review.

Advanced wind power specific systems, applications and approaches are necessary in order to function effectively. Due to the characteristics of wind power, it creates uncertainty to the electricity supply chain. In order to function efficiently in the power market business, it is crucial to recognise relevant factors and positioning their associated information. This descriptive study analyses and identifies the power market business and its accompanying information flows and connections. This paper shows that effective management of information in the electricity supply chain requires interconnections of several separate information and communication technology (ICT) systems. This study proposes a generic enterprise architecture to manage the data chains and information flows within the scenario of multiple energy ICT systems. As a result, this study also presents a proposal of an advanced enterprise architecture model that describes both system interconnections and wind power related information flows.
