“…Porém, embora seja considerado um método criterioso para avaliar os aspectos de fala, sua aplicação no julgamento perceptivo, especialmente no que se refere à hipernasalidade, quando realizado por diferentes avaliadores é difícil de ser comparada. Isto devido à experiência do avaliador e aos padrões internos que diferem de ouvinte para ouvinte (KEUNING;WIENEKE;DEJONCKERE, 1999;BARRETO;ORTIZ, 2008) A fim de se determinar o estímulo de fala mais eficiente para a identificação da hipernasalidade, um estudo recente desenvolvido no Laboratório de Fisiologia do HRAC comparou dois tipos de amostras de fala utilizando avaliação perceptiva e instrumental (FERLIN, 2014). O julgamento da hipernasalidade foi feito por três avaliadoras experientes e os escores de nasalância foram determinados por meio da nasometria em 44 indivíduos com fissura palatina reparada, de ambos os sexos.…”
