“…Based on the production values at the peak of lactation, we have a practical indication for the separation of seropositive animals. This is because the period from the first third of lactation to the peak of production was marked by a negative energy balance, with rising production and a gradual restoration of the dry matter intake capacity (Silva, Assis Silva, Alcântara, & Carvalho, 2019).
