Influência Da Densidade De Estocagem No Desempenho Zootécnico Do Pacu Durante a Pré-Engorda

Abstract

O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar a influência de três densidades de estocagem (50,100 e 150 peixes/m3) na pré-engorda de juvenis de pacu (5,19 ± 0,40 g). O estudo foi desenvolvido no Laboratório de Aquicultura (LAQ), UDESC/Laguna (SC). Foram utilizados no total 180 juvenis de pacu distribuídos em nove unidades experimentais, dispostas em três.sistemas de recirculação de água idênticos, com três réplicas. Os peixes foram alimentados diariamente até a saciedade aparente, duas vezes ao dia, com ração peletizada (27% PB), durante 69 dias. A sobrevivência foi de 100% em todos os tratamentos. Não houve diferenças.significativas no peso final, fator de condição, taxa de crescimento específico (TCE), ganho de peso e conversão alimentar aparente entre as diferentes densidades testadas. A TCE média geral de 1,50 ± 0,09 %/dia, similar a outros estudos com a espécie nesta faixa de peso, sugerindo que as condições experimentais e densidades avaliadas foram adequadas. Isso mostra que o pacu apresenta potencial para a pré-engorda em altas densidades.Palavras-chave: espécie nativa, Piaractus mesopotamicus, sistema de recirculação aquícola.
