Abstract:In this paper, two kinds of ethylene vinyl acetate copolymers (EVA) with different vinyl acetate (VA) contents were modified by plasma technique. The surface hydrophobic recovery and the nanostructure of the samples were evaluated by water contact angle measurement and positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy, respectively. The water contact angle results indicated that higher VA content would result in faster hydrophobic recovery after plasma modification. The positron annihilation results indicated that t… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
