Influence of Virgin Coconut and Sesame Oils on Diabetic Male Rats
Abstract:This study was carried out to investigate the effects of virgin coconut and sesame oils on the lipid profile and glucose level of diabetic male rats. Fifty-six adult male albino rats of the Sprague Dawley strain were divided into 8 groups. The administration, of alloxan (150 mg/kg BW) was done only once intraperitoneally for the groups from 2 -8 to induce diabetes.
