Influence of Trolox and Quercetin Combinations on Human Ovarian Cancer Cell Line A2780 and Human Breast Cancer Cell Line T47D-KBluc

Abstract: Our aim was to investigate whether combining two powerful antioxidants such as Trolox and Quercetin could enhance their toxicity against breast and ovarian cancer cells. Human ovarian carcinoma cells from the A2780 line and human mammary gland carcinoma cells belonging to the T47D-KBluc line were incubated in RPMI-1640 supplemented with 50 µM Trolox and various Quercetin concentrations (25 µM, 50 µM and 100 µM).
