Influence of the crystal field on bent configuration of VK centres in AMF3 compounds

Abstract: On calculating the admixture of the TIg molecular state in the 2Cu ground state by a Czv crystal field, an attempt is made to determine the angle which characterizes the bent configuration of the V, centres in the fluoperovskite lattice.

“…Splitting in the spectrum can be explained by a hyperfine (hfJ interaction of the unpaired spin S = 1/2 with two fluorine nuclei (I = 1/2 with a natural abundance 100%). The first estimations of the F19 hi interaction parameters from the EPR angular dependencies (Au = 2550 MHz; A.l = 300 MHz) are in good agreement with the parameters for VK (fluorine Fz) centres found in other perovskite crystals [5][6][7] In the early stages of the 130 -140 K TSL peak, the diffusion-controlled-tunnelling· recombination kinetics occurs, as discussed in the case of halide crystals [8]. A small steplike (2-5 K) increase of the stimulation temperature leads to the long-term-increase of the recombination luminescence to the quasi-stationary value.…”
