Influence of the consumer society on the education system

Solving communication problems in the digital environment is becoming increasingly difficult for both teachers and students. The formation of communicative skills of future teachers in the learning process is also important from the standpoint of increasing relevance in the development of emotional intelligence of the personality. The purpose of the academic paper was to develop and test a model of formation of communicative skills of future teachers in the process of studying at higher educational institutions (HEI). The research methodology is based on a quantitative assessment of the formation success of communication skills in the process of teaching the course "Psychology" for 120 students of the Faculty of Philology in Ukraine. Qualitative analysis of the effectiveness of the developed formation model of future teachers' communicative skills involved observing the teachers' and students' behavior of control and experimental groups of the course. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed formation model of future teachers' communicative skills in the process of studying at HEI.

Teacher as a Media Figure in Modern Higher Education: A Competence-Based Approach

The purpose of this study is the development of a qualitative evaluation of a teacher as a media figure in modern higher education within the framework of a competence-based approach. The leading approach in this study involves a combination of a systemic analysis of the issues of evaluating the competence of modern teachers in the higher education system with an analytical study of various aspects of modern media education. The results of this study lie in the identification of the primary models of media education for their further inclusion in the educational process, for the development of the necessary teacher's competences as a media figure in the modern higher education. The practical value of this study lies in the possibility of practical application of its results to develop an objective outlook on the evaluation of the teacher's role and functions as a media figure in modern higher education within the framework of a competence-based approach to the development of this evaluation.

The Concepts of Academic Dishonesty of Undergraduate Students in China in the Situation of Online Education

As an ethical requirement, honesty is the fundamental of all ethics and one of the critical contents of the core socialist values in China. An important manifestation of honesty in undergraduate students is academic honesty. As a vital link of the honest education system for college and university students, academic honesty is related to cultivating undergraduate students' honesty and ethical quality and is an important guarantee to promote the healthy development of higher education and academic innovation. Academic honesty is also suffered unprecedented attention from all walks of life. At the beginning of 2020, affected by the sudden Covid-19, colleges and universities all over China responded to the call of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, actively responded to, and comprehensively applied various information means. Colleges and universities started online education, carefully and wholly formulated online teaching plans, and adopted various methods and ways to carry out various forms of online education.
