These changes were associated with major haemodynamic changes during surgery, as blood volume may be altered because of blood loss or venous pooling (Buhari et al 2013;Karademir et al 2016), but also a decreased CO and peripherical tissue perfusion, owing to vasodilation caused by anaesthesia, could have an important effect (Kennedy and Van Rij 1998;Owens et al 2012).…”
