Influence of Removable Dentures Wearing and Their Qualities on Nutrient Intake of Elderly People.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between quality of removable dentures and nutrient intake in the elderly. Subjects were 323 community dwelling, independently living elderlypeople Diet was assessed by licensed dietitians via interview for 3 days. The data on food consumption were converted to the nutrient content such as energy (kcal), protein, and calcium.
