Influence of organic fouling layer characteristics and osmotic backwashing conditions on cleaning efficiency of RO membranes

Abstract: Fouling remains a prevalent and serious problem in industries using membrane processes.Efforts to mitigate fouling are improving, however, membrane fouling cannot be completely eliminated.
