El discurso tradicional de la masculinidad ha sido objeto de cuestionamientos negativos por parte de hombres y mujeres, ante este hecho y la influencia de la Ola Hallyu ha surgido una nueva forma de comprender la masculinidad bajo valores como la sensibilidad e inclusividad. La “Masculinidad Híbrida’’ brinda un mejor entendimiento de cómo se desarrolla la identificación por parte de los hombres a modelos que contradicen la norma por género. De modo que, el objetivo de este trabajo es averiguar si la marca Natura, en un comercial de sus líneas Homem y Faces, pueden conceptualizar la “Masculinidad Híbrida’’ con el fin de cambiar la representación del consumidor masculino. En relación con ello se empleó un enfoque cualitativo por medio de entrevistas semiestructuradas en 20 mujeres seguidoras de la Ola Hallyu de 18 a 26 años. Ello resultó en la aceptación por parte de ellas y una evidencia de que la diversidad es la clave para representar hombres no hegemónicos. A su vez, alejar a los hombres de actitudes apáticas los vuelve más cercanos y reales. Este conocimiento contribuye a adaptar las estrategias publicitarias en la categoría de belleza y cuidado personal, invadidas por estereotipos aspiracionales nocivos, con el fin de mantenerlo actualizado a las tendencias de consumo y representación del público masculino. Del mismo modo, profundiza en el tema perceptivo que sirve de conocimiento teórico.
