Abstract:The reported transverse wobbling band in odd-mass 105 Pd has been reinvestigated by the triaxial particle rotor model. Employing several different parameter sets of moment of inertia (MOI), all of the calculations could be in good agreement with the experimental data, which show distinct modes of rotational excitation, respectively. These modes are sensitive to the ratio between the MOI at intermediate and short axis. With the increase of this ratio, the axis which the total angular momentum wobbles about is … Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
