Influence of mica paper surface modification on the water resistance of mica paper/organic silicone resin composites

Abstract:This study enhances the water resistance of mica paper/organic silicone resin composites through surface modification with 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTES). The Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy and the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy confirmed the formation of chemical bonds between APTES and mica.
