“…This might be due to vermicopost which contains plant growth regulations like auxis, gibberllins and cytokinins which are responsible for increase in plant growth and biocapsule which provide PGPR ( plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria ) which results in acceleration of plant growth. Similar findings were found in Chiranjeevi et al [30] in aonla. .…”

“…Good physical and biological conditions in FYM and vermicompost along with biocapsules had positive effect on root and shoot growth which helps in better survival. Similar findings were found in Bhardwaj [33] in papaya, Ritesh et al [34] in papaya, Chiranjeevi et al [30] in aonla, Irsa et al [26] in marigold.…”

“…Seed germination is favored by the growth medium as it promotes water absorption, nutrient availability and oxygen supply to the germinating seeds and seedlings [14]. High percentage of germination in cocopeat is due to good physical and chemical properties because of less compactness and more porosity of the medium [15]. The use of fertilizers in soil positively affected the seed germination process and the experiment showed that with the addition of nutrient source, the percentage of germination enhanced as compared to control treatment.…”

“…They increase the imbibition of water synthesize phytohormones and plant growth-promoting substances. The application of BF signi cantly increased the germination (86.11% ), seedling length, seedling girth, and biomass of Emblica o cinalis (Veerappa Hongal et al 2018). BF has a positive impact on seeds they improved the roots proliferation and chances of crop establishment in stress conditions (Dar et al 2021).…”
