Influence of local and global environmental parameters on the composition of cyanobacterial mats in a tropical lagoon

Abstract: Cyanobacteria-dominated microbial mat communities thrive widely and year round in coral reefs and tropical lagoons, with periodic massive development of benthic blooms.
