Abstract:A yawed cylinder is a cylinder inclined in the plane of a flowing liquid. The liquid flow past the yawed cylinder is important for practice, namely, for bubble suppression and control of the boundary layer transition in undersea applications. It should be noted that an inclined cylinder characterizes an asymmetrical behavior of fluid flow and heat transfer. Energy and mass transference characteristics of a steady nonlinear convective flow over the yawed cylinder by accounting for chemically reactive species an… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
