Abstract:The hypothalamic paraventricular nucleus (PVN) is a key site for regulating neuroendocrine functions in the magnocellular part and autonomic activities in the parvocellular part. Its anatomical proximity to the third ventricle could be a good target for intrathecal injection of baclofen.
