Influence of intraocular lens material on the development of acute endophthalmitis after cataract surgery?

Abstract: Purpose To investigate the causal relationship between acute postoperative endophthalmitis (POE) after cataract surgery and the biomaterial properties of the intraocular lens (IOLs) implanted.
