“…Há evidências crescentes de que o uso do TMI aumenta força muscular respiratória, otimiza o desmame da ventilação mecânica, reduz tempo de internação e tempo de ventilação não invasiva pós extubação (AHMED; MARTIN; SMITH, 2019a; BISSETT; GOSSELINK; VAN HAREN, 2020a;VOLPE;ALEIXO;ALMEIDA, 2016), o que corrobora com os resultados encontrados nesse relato.
