Influence of inflammatory arthritis on leukocyte esterase strip results in the diagnosis of periprosthetic joint infection

Abstract: Background: The leukocyte esterase (LE) strip is considered as a helpful method to detect infection, which might be influenced by other inflammatory diseases.
