Influence of Glass Fiber and Calcium Carbonate on The Mechanical and Rheological Properties of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)

Abstract: In this study; glass fiber (GF) and calcium carbonate CaCO3 (CC) are fillers used with high density polyethylene (grade EMN 6030). The fillers were mixed with polyethylene by 10-50% w/w to prepare some of polymeric composites mechanical properties such as tensile strength, hardness and Young’s modulus increased with the augmentation filler concentration.
