Influence of Gas Dynamic Processes on Chemical Composition of Hardfaced Layer when Restoring Machine Parts Manufactured from 40H Steel

Abstract: The authors study the influence of active shielding gas dynamics on the process of hardfacing with flux-cored wire by single-jet and two-jet gas shielding. Research results into the properties of a hardfaced layer on structural steel 40H obtained by flux-cored welding are presented.
