Abstract:Flaps, as one of the lift-augmentation devices installed on aircraft, provide sufficient lift during takeoff and landing phases. By installing flaps on the wing, the wing area can be increased, and the wing curvature can be modified. by adjusting the position of the flaps, the aircrafts aerodynamic characteristics can be regulated.
