Influence of filler hybridization on thermomechanical properties of hemp/silver epoxy composite

Abstract: The polymer composite material’s thermomechanical properties with fiber as reinforcement material have been widely studied in the last few decades. However, these fiber-based polymer composites exhibit problems such as fiber orientation, delamination, fiber defect along the length and bonding are the matter of serious concern in order to improve the thermomechanical properties and obtain isotropic material behavior. In the present investigation filler-based composite material is developed using natural hemp an… Show more

“…A more percentage in crystallinity index for alkaline treated filler helps in dissolving the surplus amount of amorphous content present in the filler. [40,41] The FTIR spectra of an alkaline treated and raw jute filler are displayed in Figure 6. The consequences for both types of fillers are demonstrated in the form of molecular structure architecture.…”

“…Many researchers have focused on hyacinth plant composites, but the production of powder and ash composite from water hyacinth is still in its infancy. [18][19][20][21][22] The main objective of this work is toutilize the aquatic waste water hyacinth (EihhorniaCrassipes) plant in an effective way and to investigates the water hyacinth plant powder and ash, which can be used as reinforcement material combined with an epoxy resin matrix to produce composite material for particleboard application and other lightweight material applications. From this research the water hyacinth plant powder and ash particles reinforced composite samples mechanical strength, thermal stability, degradation temperature of the composite, surface morphologies, elemental analysis is done with an effective manner.…”
