The study was conducted in the Krasnoyarsk forest-steppe on leached chernozem. The scheme of the experiment included the introduction of ammonium nitrate and azophoska. The spring barley protection scheme was studied, represented by the preparations Hat Trick, SC, Ballerina Super, SE, Lastik Extra, CE, Reggie, VRK, Baliy, KME, Borey Neo, SC. The repetition of the experience is 4 – fold. The registered area of the plot is 45 m2. Seeding rate - 5.0 mln. The humus content in the soil was determined in accordance with GOST 26213-84, nitrate nitrogen according to GOST 26951-86, mobile compounds of phosphorus and potassium - according to GOST 26204-91. The protein content in the grain was carried out in accordance with GOST 10846-91, the nature of the grain - GOST 10840-64, the mass of 1000 grains - GOST 10842-89. Preliminary studies have established that the maximum yield of barley was obtained with the introduction of azofoski (N60P60K60) and the use of protective equipment - 5.93 t/ha, compared with the control, the increase was 1.82 t/ha or 30.6%. The highest value of the protein content was noted when azofoski was applied - 13.40%. The pre-sowing application of azofoski and the use of plant protection products increased the mass of 1000 grains by 3.2 - 4.8 g, the grain nature by 18 - 26 g/l compared with the control.

The results of spring barley assessment by the parameters of adaptability and ecological plasticity in the Krasnoyarsk forest-steppe conditions are presented. The objects of the study, conducted in 2020-2022, were the released varieties and lines of local breeding. The Acha variety was adopted as the standard. The soil of the experimental field is ordinary low-power chernozem. Repetition is fourfold, and the comparison method is paired. Sowing was carried out in optimal time - May 20-25, the seeding rate - 5.5 million germinated seeds/ha. In terms of moisture regime, 2020 and 2021 were excessively wet (HTC = 1.84-1.89), while 2021 was sufficiently wetted. May drought was observed in 2022 (HTC = 0.27). As a result of the research, valuable breeding material was selected. The highest productivity (43.2 c/ha) in relation to the standard showed the line D-7-7057 (L-11-38 × Buyan). The varieties Acha, Krasnoyarsk 80, line D-7-7057 on environmental plasticity were attributed to the intensive type (bi = 1,17-1,21), the variety Kedr reacted the least to improvement of the growing conditions (bi = 0,86). The breeding line B-56-6885 (Biom × Sibiryak) was the most stable, characterized by high indices of average yield (41.3 c/ha), environmental stability (Si2 = 417,1, SF = 2,82), breeding value of the genotype (Sc = 6.73), and had average environmental plasticity (bi = 1.01). Among the varieties of the intensive type, the line D-7-7057 (L-11-38 × Buyan) with the highest yield (43.2 c/ha), medium stability parameters (Si2 = 723,9, SF = 4,02) and increased plasticity (bi = 1.17) is of greatest interest. During the experiment it was found that the main contribution to the formation of the yield is made by the breeding traits associated with crop density (the number of plants before harvesting, productive stem and tillering) and the productivity of individual plants (grain weight per plant, thousand-kernel weight).

Change and influence of agroclimatic conditions on oat yield in Yakutia

The results of the dynamics analysis of multi-year meteorological indicators and study of their inﬂuence on the yield of the released oat varieties in diﬀerent agroclimatic zones of Yakutia are presented. It is shown that in the period from 1960 to 2021 the mean annual air temperature in Central Yakutia (Pokrovsk meteorological station) increased annually by 0.045 °C, from 1999 to 2021 – by 0.088 °C, the number of dry years in June increased from 67 to 92% due to a 21% increase in years with medium (HTC = 0.41-0.60) and very strong (HTC < 0.21) drought. In July, drought was recorded in 50% of the years, in August – in 38%. In all agroclimatic zones in the period from 2014 to 2021 for June – August the average daily air temperature annually increased by 0.16...0.34 °С and their sum by 14...28 °С, with precipitation decreasing by 3-16 mm and HTC value by 0.04-0.12 units. Climate change from 2014 to 2021 was 3 to 8 times more intense than from 1999 to 2022. There was a strong variability of yields of the released oat varieties in each agroclimatic zone: Central – from 0.38 to 2.14 t/ha (V = 60–73%), Zarechnaya – from 0.31 to 3.55 t/ha (V = 41–49%), Srednelenskaya – from 1.51 to 4.66 t/ha (V = 30–36%). The greatest annual decrease in grain yield of oat varieties (by 0.25–0.26 t/ha) was observed in arid agroclimatic zones – Central (Yakutsk SCTS) and Zarechnaya (Megino-Kangalassky SCTS) – compared to the wetter Srednelenskaya zone (Olyokminsky SCTS – by 0.10 t/ha). More signiﬁcant inﬂuence on the yield in the Central and Zarechnaya zones was made by precipitation and HTC of the growing season (r = 0.77...0.84), in the Srednelenskaya zone – by temperature (r = – 0.79). Negative eﬀect of temperature on the yield in the Central zone was observed in June (r = – 0.83), Zarechnaya zone - in July (r = – 0.83), in the Srednelenskaya zone – in August (r = –0.86). Precipitation and HTC had the greatest inﬂuence on the yield in the Central zone in June and July (r = 0.56...0.59), Zarechnaya zone – July and August (r = 0.60...0.76). In the Srednelenskaya zone the relationship of the yield with precipitation and HTC in June and July was positive (r = 0.23...0.37), in August – negative (r = – 0.57...– 0.71). Signiﬁcant variability in grain yields of the released oat varieties indicates the variability of weather conditions and the need to cultivate oat varieties that provide a more stable yield in diﬀerent agroclimatic zones of Yakutia.
