Abstract: Brain perfusion is sensitive to changes in CO2 levels (CO2 reactivity). Previously, we showed a pathological cerebral blood flow (CBF) reduction in the majority of myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) patients during orthostatic stress.
