Abstract:The aim was to evaluate the influence of different modes of application of chlorhexidine digluconate in the preservation of bond strength of universal adhesive system to dentin. Teeth were divided into 3 groups: Distilled water: (control), CHX PT: pre-treatment with 2% chlorhexidine digluconate and CHX+SBU: 2% chlorhexidine digluconate incorporated into the adhesive system.
