Influence of controllable lead time, premium price, and unequal shipments under environmental effects in a supply chain management

Abstract: Recently, carbon emission becomes a major issue during transportation of products from one player to another player. Due to the increasing number of single-setup-multi-delivery (SSMD) policies by several industries, fixed and variable transportation cost and carbon emission cost are considered. The aim of the model is to reduce the total cost of supply chain for controlling the lead time and to diminish setup cost by a discrete investment. A premium cost is introduced and Stackelberg game policy is employed to… Show more

“…The SQP is an effective and efficient decision-making tool and validated the best for solving nonlinear constraint and unconstraint equations, big-data research, and multi-decision problems according to Schittkowski [84], Mostafa and Khajavi [85], and Theodorakatos et al [86]. The method is already utilized by various research studies [87][88][89][90] in production and supply chain management models.…”

“…The two major categories of the industries can be divided into manufacturing and service industry. Researchers are working to enhance the production, quality, and cycle time of the manufacturing firm to support the manufacturers, customers and government [31][32][33]. However, healthcare systems are essential for the population to provide services.…”

“…The effect of intangible cost on production and inventory can be analysed in various production and supply chain models. Most of the researchers ( [31][32][33][34][35][36]) worked on imperfect production systems to help the managers in planning and controlling the bad quality items. However, very few researchers analyzed the cause to reduce the imperfect production in the system.…”
