Inflammatory and oxidative stress biomarkers in alkaptonuria: data from the DevelopAKUre project

Abstract: Monitoring of SAA may be suggested in AKU to evaluate inflammation. Though further evidence is needed, SAA, chitotriosidase activity and PTI might be proposed as disease activity markers in AKU.
