Inflammatory and metabolic changes of severe obese women after 6 months of a Roux‐en‐Y gastric bypass

Abstract: Obesity is a chronic disease related to adipokines production, which contribute to inflammation and metabolic abnormalities. The Roux‐en‐Y gastric bypass is an alternative therapy for the treatment of severe obesity, reaching weight loss superior to conventional therapies.
