Abstract:SummaryDevelopments on spatial transcriptomics (ST) are providing means to interrogate organ/tissue architecture from the angle of the gene programs defining their molecular complexity. However, computational methods to analyze ST data under-exploits the spatial signature retrieved within the maps. Inspired by contextual pixel classification strategies applied to image analysis, we have developed MULTILAYER, allowing to stratify ST maps into functionally-relevant molecular substructures. For it, MULTILAYER app… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
