Infectious endocarditis caused by Bartonella henselae associated with infected pets: two case reports

Abstract: Background Blood culture-negative infective endocarditis is a potentially severe disease that can be associated with infectious agents such as Bartonella spp., Coxiella burnetti, Tropheryma whipplei, and some fungi.
