Abstract:RESUMO O presente trabalho teve por objetivos verificar se o hamster é suscetível à estirpe de Mycobacterium avium isolado de linfadenite de suíno e descrever o processo infeccioso a partir da inoculação via oral. No experimento 1 testou-se três concentrações de M. avium (108; 107 e 106 ufc/ 0,5 mL de solução salina) inoculadas pela via intraperitoneal, com o propósito de definir a doseteste do experimento 2.
