Infantile encephalopathy due to vitamin deficiency in industrial countries

Abstract: Avitaminosis, even in industrialized countries, should be considered in an atypical age group with no known risk factors. Early diagnosis and prompt treatment may accomplish a quick recovery with fewer sequelae.
