Infant Warmer with Digital Scales for Auto Adjustment PID Control Parameters

Abstract: Babies need temperatures that match the temperature of the mother's womb, which is between 35°C – 37°C. The latest research on infant warmer device used fuzzy method as a system for controlling temperature in infant warmers. The problem raised in the previous research is that the temperature was not evenly distributed throughout the bed at each predetermined temperature setting. When it reached the setting temperature, the warmer continued to turn on so that the bed got hotter. Therefore, the purpose of the cu… Show more

“…This also happened in the previous study, the difference in temperature sensor measurements was only about 0.13-0.182°C with the largest error of the system reaching 0.517% [33] and other studies achieved an error rate of only 0.28% [25]. Then based on other research, the results obtained for the error value were also less than 0.5°C [34]- [36]. The error value obtained from the DS18B20 sensor measurement was about 1% [37] [38] or 0.3°C.…”

“…temperature is when the observation must be carried out. This study also has weaknesses, namely having to increase the system scale and accuracy of the PID control system to reduce excess [10]. The next researcher made a Blood Warmer using PID control with the title The PID controller's temperature monitoring and control system on the egg incubator has been successfully merged automatically with the PWM technique on the lamp, allowing for more efficiency in the hatching process.…”
