Inequality distance hyperplane multiclass support vector machines

Abstract: In this study, inequality distance hyperplane multiclass support vector machines (IDH-MSVM) algorithm is proposed on the basis of multiclassification support vector machine (MSVM) which was proposed by J. Weston and C. Watkins in 1999. It only needs to solve a single objective optimization problem to deal with multiclassification problems. For original MSVM, the hyperplane distance refers to the classification interval between classical margin and hyperplane, which is equality. However, the IDH-MSVM introduces… Show more

“…At first, support vector machines were generally used for classification of Class 2 problems, but in practical applications, the problems were relatively complex and there were many classifications. Therefore, many improved support vector machine methods have emerged 23 , 24 . During the operation of high-voltage circuit breakers, they may operate normally or other types of faults may occur, such as normal operation, spring fatigue, spring jamming, firmware loosening, etc.…”

“…In this paper, the grid search method is chosen to divide the grid for the optimal search. Using the fixed-step grid search search 14,15,16,17,18 , a violent search method with a combination of coarse and fine, and a large step size in the optimization search space, all the real target points to be searched are cyclically arranged and combined, (3) Traversing the coordinate grid…”
