Inelastic x-ray scattering as a probe of electronic correlations

Abstract: We construct an exact dynamical mean field theory for nonresonant inelastic light scattering in the infinite-dimensional Falicov-Kimball model, which can be tuned through a quantum critical metal-insulator transition.
