İNEKLERDE SAHADA KULLANILABİLEN BİR TEST İLE SERUM KALSİUM ORANıNıN SAPTANMASI ÜZERİNE ÇALIŞMALAR

Abstract

Research on the estimation of the serum calcium levels of cows by a test suitable for field use. Summary: A Qyantitative laboratory test fur the estimation of the serum calcium level by using diffirent concentrations of disodium ethylenediamine ;'etraacetate (ED TA) were used in a field trial. To compare this field test to a standart laboratory method, blood samples from 41 cows 23 of which had parturient paresis were taken simultaneou.ıly for laboratoıy analysis. The results qf the correspondiııg laboratory ana[ysis fell in the appropiate range as delcrmined by the field test in 36 and in an adjoining range to the laboratoıy analysis while 2 were lower. A more rapid and a sofer treatment can be achieved and the risk of iııtravenous calcium therapy can be avoided with the help of this test. Özet: Bu çalışmamızda çeşitli konsantrasyonlarda Disodium etfrylenediamine tetraacetate (ED TA) kullanmak suretiyle serumdaki kalsiyum oranını hesaplamak esasına dayanan laboratuvar testini saha u)'gulamasında kullandık. Kırkbir olgunun 36'sında saha .çalışmaları ile elde edilen sonuçlar, laboratuvar sonuçları ile uyum gÖJtermiş, 5 tanesinde ise sonuçlar farklı bulunmuştur. Bunların 3 tanesinde laboratuvar sonuçlarından düşük, 2 tanesinde ise yüksek sonuçlar saptanmı~tı1.
