Abstract:The hepatic endoplasmic reticulum (ER)-anchored monotopic proteins, cytochromes P450 (P450s) are enzymes that metabolize endobiotics (physiologically active steroids and fatty acids) as well as xenobiotics including therapeutic/chemotherapeutic drugs, nutrients, carcinogens and toxins.
