Induction of hyperglycaemia in zebrafish (Danio rerio) leads to morphological changes in the retina

Abstract: Diabetes affects over 16 million Americans yearly, resulting in hyperglycaemia and microvascular complications, including retinopathy, neuropathy and nephropathy.
