Inducible Selectable Marker Genes to Improve Aspergillus fumigatus Genetic Manipulation

Abstract: The hygromycin B phosphotransferase gene from Escherichia coli and the pyrithiamine resistance gene from Aspergillus oryzae are two dominant selectable marker genes widely used to genetically manipulate several fungal species.
