Abstract: RESUMOO setor agrícola sempre levanta a demanda por novas cultivares que associem resistência às pragas e doenças, qualidade e produtividade. Características no qual são indispensáveis na escolha de um genótipo para multiplicação. Nesse caso, encontramos materiais híbridos, porém sempre havendo a necessidade de novas aquisições por sementes, quando necessário multiplica-los.
