Individual approach in treating patients with pulmonary and tracheobronchial tuberculosis, with a long history of tobacco smoking and decompensated diabetes mellitus

Abstract: Introduction. At the end of 2020, the clinical cure rate in all registration groups of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis was 48.2 %. There is now ample evidence that additional risk factors influence the more severe course of pulmonary tuberculosis and reduce the effectiveness of standard anti-tuberculosis therapeutic programs.
