Indications for tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy: Our experience

Abstract: Obstruction as an indication is proportionally higher in younger children while infection is proportionally higher in older children.

This is smaller than what was reported by Ahmed et al, who reported age range of 0-18 years with a mean age of 5.44 years (+3.39 SD) and a median age of 5 years [19].
