Show more

“…5d), presented values close to the results obtained by Signor et al (2014) which varied between 10.13 and 26.19 g kg − 1 in soil with a sugarcane harvesting system without burning. In the case of group 2, the soils were within the range obtained by Almeida et al (2016) (between 5.73 and 10 g kg − 1 ), who observed a reduction in CO at greater depths and greater carbon stock for areas with 9 and 8 years of cultivation. In this sense, Prado et al (2017) veri ed that the application of vinasse promoted an increase of 4 Mg ha − 1 in sugarcane yield, as well as improved the technological quality of the crop, so that higher CO and CEC values are related to the application of organic fertilizers and promote an increase in the technological quality and yield of sugarcane (Canellas et al 2008;Resende et al 2006;Rosset et al 2014).…”

“…Similar results were obtained by Azevedo et al (2020) in Tahiti lime orchards grafted on flying dragon trifoliate [Poncirus trifoliata var. monstrosa (T. Ito) Swingle], in which higher concentrations of K + in the soil were found in treatments with the presence of mulch of U. ruziziensis, and have been reported for other fruiting plants, such as apple trees, using SV as a cover crop (Oliveira et al, 2016).…”
