The objective of this research work is to determine the extent to which the improvement plan reduces high costs in the transport company Caipo S.R.L., presents a pre-experimental design methodology; On the other hand, alternative solutions are proposed in relation to engineering standards, with the execution of four tools which are the implementation of an SG-SST, layout modification, inventory management software and TPM. The results indicate that the Layout tool gives us a benefit of S/ 5,452.35, the TPM manages to increase a benefit of S/ 18,440.00, the SG-SST has a benefit of S/ 9000 and the Software tool brings with it a benefit of S/ 4550. Based on the foregoing, it is concluded that a NPV of S/365,733.00 is achieved, an IRR of 111% and C/B of S/ 6.80, generating higher returns for the transport company Caipo and reducing operational problems.
