Indicação do tratamento da tuberculose latente: desafios identificados no sistema de notificação brasileiro, 2018-2022

Abstract

Objetivou-se analisar as indicações de tratamento para tuberculose latente no sistema de notificação brasileiro, de 2018 a 2022. Realizou-se um estudo descritivo, com dados secundários, referentes às indicações realizadas no sistema de notificação para tratamento da tuberculose latente no Brasil, de janeiro de 2018 a junho de 2022. Foram apuradas as frequências absoluta e relativa, apresentadas em mapas temáticos. Foram registradas 85.822 notificações, sendo “contatos de pessoas com tuberculose” a indicação mais frequente (57,2%). Como quarta indicação mais comum, observou-se o campo “outra” (7,7%), reservado para eventuais exceções do protocolo. Dentre essas, evidenciou-se que 91,1% correspondiam a erros de notificação, 4,5% foram indicações não contempladas no protocolo e 4,4% se tratavam de erros de indicação. Conclui-se que se tem empregado a indicação do tratamento da tuberculose latente em grupos prioritários; entretanto, foram evidenciados aspectos não preconizados, além de um possível desconhecimento sobre a utilização do sistema de informação.
