Index-based Dietary Patterns and the Risk of Prostate Cancer in the NIH-AARP Diet and Health Study

Abstract: Few studies have investigated the relationship between overall diet and the risk of prostate cancer. We examined the association between 3 diet quality indices-the Healthy Eating Index-2005 (HEI-2005), Alternate Healthy Eating Index-2010 (AHEI-2010), and alternate Mediterranean diet score (aMED)-and prostate cancer risk.
